Brief Information: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has recently announced job openings for the posts of Assistant Private Secretary (BPS-16) and Driver (BPS-5), inviting applications from qualified individuals through the Open Testing Service (OTS). The MCQ section covers English language skills including comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary (20 marks), MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet use (25 marks), analytical reasoning (10 marks), and knowledge of office procedures in federal and provincial governments (15 marks).
For Driver posts, candidates will face a Practical Driving Test worth 40 marks, a basic mechanical knowledge test worth 10 marks, and a 50-mark MCQ test focusing on driving skills, traffic rules, and IQ. There is also a provision for 5 years of general age relaxation according to the rules set by the Establishment Division. Applicants already serving in government departments should apply through proper channels and present their NOC at the time of the interview. It’s important to note that no TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews, and incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected. Original documents must be presented during the interview, and any discrepancy may lead to disqualification.
